Nerd Nite Philadelphia, along with Green Philly Blog and the Clean Air Council, will collide on Wednesday, September 18 for an evening filled with German beer, brainy fun and nerdy talk! Speakers include:
•Philadelphia Recycling Director Phil Bresee, covering the rpesent and future of Philly's recycling efforts;
•Philadelphia Energy Manager Kristin Sullivan, discussing city-wide energy reduction programs in the 215;
•Logan Welde and Julie Hancher (Green Blog Philly) on the harmful effects of plastic bags and positive outcomes of a citywide plastic bag reduction;
•Eric Wahl from Delaware’s Element Design Group on the science of landscape architecture
To get you excited, music is provided by Midwestern Exposure and Yards Brewing Company's Franklin Winslow will premier Yards’ latest beverage which will be available
