As the holidays end it's out with the old, and by old we mean that formerly green, tree-shaped fire hazard that's shedding needles in your living room. But don’t just throw it out
(that just adds a methane source to our landfills). Safely and environmentally recycle your tree in the 215 area by using these locations, dates and times for 2015 Christmas tree recycling:

GREEN DRINKS CENTER CITY CHAPTER CLOSING

Judah Press, owner of Save Some Green, has regrettably stepped down as chapter head of Green Drinks Center city due to increasing work / life commitments. As a result, he has cancelled all GD-CC chapter events  going forward.  However, you're welcome to attend all of our  2015 chapter events in Northern Liberties, South Philly, Cherry Hill NJ and Chester County PA. GRID Magazine invites you to come out to  McGillin's Olde Ale House to celebrate a beginning and an ending. Their Art Director for the past two years, Danni Sinisi, will be leaving after the next issue, and they're asking you to come out and send her off in style!

In addition, help them welcome Heather Shayne Blakeslee to the staff of GRID. She comes from a 7-year sting at the Delaware Valley Green Building Council, where she served as deputy executive director  and was a key player in the overwhelming success of Greenbuild 2013.
