REVIVE: Recycle, Upcycle , and the Lost & Found Art Show


Revive is a group exhibition featuring local artists who incorporate 50% or more of recycled/upcycled materials in their work. This show will take over 5,000 square feet of Hancock Garage, Fishtown's newest underground hotspot, featuring wall to wall art, bands, an upstairs lounge, pool table, stage, DJ booth, and plenty of space for dancing for the after party! GREEN DRINKS NO LIBS MOVES UPSTAIRS!

That's right, we're moving the action upstairs! From June to September 2013, Green Drinks Delaware Valley will be holding its events on the 2nd floor deck at the Standard Tap. Catch the summer breeze wafting down Poplar Street as you meet your sustainable peers while drinking and dining on the very best locally made food and craft brews in Nothern Liberties.

Just follow the signs directing you upstars or talk to Ron Johnson, 1st floor bartender; either way, come out and meet us there!

PARK CLEANUP WITH ENGINEERS WITHOUT BORDERS


Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB) is an organization that focuses on designing and implementing communities without basic human needs like access to clean water. Now their Philadelphia chapter will be giving back, in our own back yard! They're conducting a park cleanup event with Friends of Pennypack Park.  Help them restore the part to its natural state while meeting your new friends and neighbors. Tools and gloves will be provided. Please dress in attire you are comfortable getting dirty in!
